We Are Hiring - Client Accountant / Portfolio Accountant Position Available in Property Management

HWBC is a leading independent Irish commercial real estate agency and consultancy.   Due to continued growth in our business we are seeking to recruit an experienced client accountant / portfolio accountant to join our Property Management team.

Job Description

The position has responsibility for reporting to the head of the Property Management department and will have a varying role within Property Management providing exposure to all aspects of our business and working as part of the wider finance team.

The role will provide exposure to and direct involvement in the following key duties;

•  Accounts Payable and liaising with suppliers on account queries
• Accounts Receivable and liaison with property managers on debtors and debtor management.
• Administration of tenant turnover rent agreements
• Service Charge audits and tenant year end account reconciliations
• Tenant charge raising and administration
• Client reporting and liaising with financial advisors, managers and providing further financial data as may be required from time to time.
• Preparation of VAT reports for client accountants.   Periodic VAT returns for managed properties
• Bank reconciliations of client bank accounts

Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking experienced professionals who are currently working or have previously worked in the Property Management industry.  The ideal candidate is a motivated and dynamic person who is looking to join a team that is working at the forefront of the property industry and to the highest standards.  An eye for detail and accuracy is essential while expedience and efficiency is valued.  The role will suit an individual who is looking to gain a broad insight into and experience of all aspects of accounting and property finance.

Experienced bookkeeper or Account Technician, MIATI or trainee ACA, ACCA, or CPA candidates

3 years+ post qualification experience

Property financial management experience will be a benefit to applicants
