HWBC & Knight Frank formally launch The Sharp Building on behalf of McGarrell Reilly Group

The Sharp Building will provide Grade A office accommodation of the highest standard and amenities to cater for all the demands of the modern office occupier. Construction will commence in summer 2016, with Practical Completion due at the end of 2017. HWBC’s 2016 Six Nations Armchair Pundit Winner Announced

Congratulations to Jason Finch of AIB Investments who is the winner of HWBC’s Annual Six Nations Armchair Pundit Competition. John Middleton of Harvest Financial Services, Paul Sinnott of Centaur Fund Services, Jason Byers of Kennedy Wilson and Tony Whitmore of SSGA all finished in a 4 way tie for second place, with Karl O’Donovan of The Building Consultancy finishing in 3rd place. Prime Office Rents Could Rise As much As 18% in 2016

HWBC Advise Credit Suisse on the Purchase of Golden Island Shopping Centre, Athlone

HWBC advised their client Credit Suisse on the purchase of Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone.  Credit Suisse acquired the shopping centre for €43.5M reflecting a net initial yield of nearly 7%.  Golden Island is the dominant centre in the region and provides a retail offering of over 14,320 sq.m. (154,141 sq. ft.).  The scheme is anchored by Tesco & Penneys with a strong supporting lineup including Wallis, Argos, Boots and Elverys Sports.  For more on this story see here.
